Timeless design meets artisanal detail in this richly textured jumper. At first sight the cut is simple, but closer inspection reveals refined elements: wide panels and sleeves decorated with bands in the age-old Aran knitting technique. Traditionally coarse yet lace-like in effect, these stitches trace their history to the knitwear of Ireland’s Aran Islands.
The neckline is cleanly finished with an inner facing, resulting in a refined silhouette without the need for a collar. Its lively tweed structure is achieved by blending four shades of extra fine Merino wool and mercerised cotton, creating depth, softness and subtle variation in colour.
Produced in limited editions in one of the last knitting factories in the Netherlands, each jumper is then carefully assembled and finished by hand.
Available in 3 colour palettes:
• Fair – grey with beige and a touch of blue
• Ginger – rust brown with beiges and a touch of brass
• Raven – dark and mid-grey with a touch of brown

STUDIO MYR is a small independent knitwear brand by Miriam Lenarts.
Fair trade: Miriam's collection is knitted on a small scale in the Netherlands under fair working conditions. This happens in the Dutch knitting workshop Knit-it. The materials come from Italy. There, the yarns are manufactured by two family businesses.
Environmentally friendly: Studio Myr uses natural fabrics such as merino wool, linen and cotton. The merino wool is RWS certified, so mulesing-free and the animals are treated in a good way. The linen is grown in Europe, and the organic cotton is GOTS certified. Studio Myr also uses Pima cotton.
Sustainability is close to Miriam's heart and the clothing is therefore produced with as little waste as possible, according to the zero waste principle.
Locally produced: All clothing is produced locally in the Netherlands, and the yarns are made in Italy.
